Why is 2nd class post super fast according to ebay?

I have an item that people want to fix their car asap. So I send them out next working day, or same day if I can.

My post options are:

Royal Mail 2nd Class Large Letter
Estimated between Wed, 12 Nov and Thu, 13 Nov to s71 1qe
(free)

Royal Mail Tracked 48
Estimated between Wed, 12 Nov and Fri, 14 Nov to s71 1qe
Postage: £1.50

Royal Mail Tracked 24
Estimated between Wed, 12 Nov and Fri, 14 Nov to s71 1qe
Postage: £2.50

Big surprise, everyone picks free 2nd class, it's free and it's a day faster than tracked 24. I then get cases opened, or "where is it, my car's off road waiting on it".

Could we have some realistic estimates please ebay?

The increase in INRs screwed our metrics big time and I think ebay put a hold on our payouts for 30 days because of this so be careful how many INRs you get. We send everything 2nd class and ebay at what point was stating delivery would be within 48 hours including a 2 day handling time haha

If they pick your 2nd Class Post, you are not going to get your money now from eBay as it can't be shown as being delivered, and they will put this payment on hold for 31 days !!

Even once delivered and the buyer leaves Feedback, which clearly shows it has arrived, they still won't release the money.

New Policy apparently, so small items non tracked Delivery they hold the money for 31 days.

This is really taking the P/// and is a step too far.
