What's the point of placing any feedback at all on eBay when eBay removes the Negative ones left for bad sellers straight after I place them? I have been with eBay for over 20yrs and have always given feedback but now I don't think I will bother in the future because when I get a bad seller and place a Negative eBay removes it almost straight away with NO explanation leaving a bad seller with more Positive to Negative ratio than he deserves, this is completely against the Feedback Principle! So maybe it's time to say no to Feedback ALTOGETHER?

"using a different courier doesn't actually seem to be against the rules".
It is but not enforced (according to this ebay statement from 2022).

That would all be made up then wouldn't it!
So AGAIN what's the point?
Its the new system take it or take there is no choice it can be overridden by actually leaving feedback.
Otherwise it 's a positive regardless.

Yes I left a very negative feedback to a seller that scammed me by using somebody else’s tracking number to claim I had received a parcel which I hadn’t. It was removed within half an hour. He has since lost the other negative comments left by others and also the neutral comments, leaving him with a 100% feedback record! Unbelievable !!!

You are aware that neutral feedback doesn't affect the score?
There are specific reasons why feedback is removed. So you obviously fell foul of one of these reasons.
I have no idea why suddenly people seem to think that it is easy to get feedback removed, because it isn't!
Half the time it's a battle.

The point is the seller has deliberately set up to defraud md of money, then to top it all had the negative feedback warning people about it removed too. There was probably more negative feedback the seller had removed before which would have made me think twice about placing an order with him. EBay are in fact complicit in helping him defraud people. He sent A package to an address and because it showed as delivered eBay backed him up saying I had received the package. I didn’t, it was sent to another postcode on a completely different island. The package size shown as delivered was too small to be the item I ordered and too light aswell. Yet despite this eBay still wouldn’t accept it wasn’t delivered here
makes you wonder.

Well, going off the other feedback you have left, you seem to very unlucky with this kind of thing....
And you are extremely quick to accuse sellers of dishonesty.
And had the seller used any king of tracked service, it would have GPS locator information on it for the delivery. If that did not match, then they would lose the case.
So if they had indeed "purposely" sent to a different address, the tracking would show this.
They would not win a case if the address did not match that of the order itself.
I would suggest that you keep politics off the forum, this is not the place for it.

As ebay become more and more part of the transaction with its dictates which Sellers must follow - you could leave a feedback aimed at ebay and clearly differentiate it as such rather than casting a cloud over the Buyer / Seller.

No !! Indeed not - in that slate the Sellers Actions and if it was down to ebay who created a 'dodgy' system , slate them too, as they are part of the problem.

Who said anything about your feedback percentage?
You do know that people can look at the feedback you have left and without adding it up, I would be willing to bet that your negative percentage is pretty high. Maybe 20%. Which you makes you very unlucky with all of your purchases.

Of course you can access it, in just the same way that everyone else can.

Sadly, you don't seem to understand the feedback system anyway. Some of the highlights from your first few pages...
One has you calling people names, while another has you claiming that a seller is dishonest because they sold a faulty PDA (which was advertised as faulty) and you expected it to come with items that (taking an educated guess) were not pictured or mentioned in any way.
Plus you're giving sellers neutral feedback because the bag you chose was "not as nice as the bag I had stolen." REALLY? YOU CHOSE IT! How is it the sellers' fault that you don't like it as much as the one you had stolen?
The feedback system is where you review the SELLER. It's not where you review the PRODUCT.
People like you shouldn't even be allowed to use the feedback system.
