Bit of a cheeky post "do members have any tips on reporting private/business"
Mine is list the item numbers then state how many they have for sale and mention Breaking consumer law for not displaying business details and fee avoidance in the report ( ebay love that bit ) they act quick (in ebay term) with that mentioned in the report.
Any More ?

I tried some of these suggestions yesterday, i got back the usual
"What happened:
We looked into your report and didn’t find the listing to be in violation of our policy. This determination was made by a customer service agent. "
If someone did actually look you can see that they are all businesses.

After multiple reports over the last 6 months i have had one single item removed which the seller put straight back on.
You can easily see these people are business sellers but nothing is done.
They will only get a tax demand off HMRC if they are not paying taxes so they will just carry on selling on a private account.
Don't report items report the seller of those items. it is the best way.

"If misregistered, this not only creates an unfair advantage but also results in lost fees for eBay."
Unfortunately eBay don't lose out as the buyers now pay the fees and most likely what the buyer pays is probably more than the original fee the seller paid.

I think it is sad that eBay thinks this is acceptable, instead of sorting out the business sellers on private accounts and recouping lost fees that way they take the easy route and have the buyer pay them direct
Shame on you eBay!
