The new "Extended ‘Item Not Received’ protections"

The new "Extended ‘Item Not Received’ protections". Upon reading this, I thought it is great and at last something eBay is listening to us about.

Then I read on and to actually be eligible you have to buy postage through eBay.

This is unfair for business sellers who have Royal Mail business accounts (or other courier business accounts) and have more than 30 orders a day. I do not have time to individually buy postage for each item separately via eBay especially when I've done so in the past and there's been issues on eBay's end and I've had to go to Click and Drop instead.

Surely we all should qualify if tracking is provided in general and the item gets delivered still?

I can't tell you how many times I've had to refund a customer and the tracking says it's "In Transit", so I just know it's about to be delivered the next day and I am forced to refund and they get the item for free.
