I just wanted to flag up an issue I'm experiencing that might be useful info for other members. I sent out a bunch of second chance offers when my last lot of auctions ended last Sunday, but most of the links that buyers received started with https://rover.ebay.com/ and all of these links were dead and just led the buyer to a blank screen.
I spoke with ebay customer services on Sunday night and apparently tech support were already aware of this issue.
I sent another "test" offer today and the link that arrived with the buyer still starts with https://rover.ebay.com/
Not sure how long it takes tech support to sort out these issues but if it doesnt happen soon it will continue to have a negative impact on my sales.
If anyone from tech support is reading this perhaps you could provide an update?

Thank you for your post.
There is an open ticket with tech on this and currently being worked on to resolve. If you can provide any item numbers as examples where you sent out the 2nd chance offer and it led to a blank page I will add these to the report and will add your account to the ticket.

Hi Kat,
all of the 2nd chance offers I sent on Sunday have expired, but I sent a new test one today which is still live - I'm not sure its a good idea to share the item number on an open forum given that the offer is intended for a particular buyer?

Hi kat@ebay, I'm sorry but I don't see the point of asking for examples of individual issues to forward to tech support - the problem is the same regardless - the broken links all start with https://rover.ebay.com/ when they should start with http://cgi.ebay.co.uk
Is it seriously taking tech support this long to solve the problem? This isn't just a problem for sellers - ebay are losing money in fees every time one of these offers does not get through to the buyer...
And yes I know there are work-arounds but they are long-winded and quite frankly we shouldn't have to resort to them.

I understand it can be frustrating wanting it to be fixed. We ask for examples for all tech issues so it can be seen that it is impacting reported accounts.
Tech are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Once I have any updates on the fix I will post back.
