Regulatory operating fee is a scam

How much extra work is it for a transaction of £5 compared to a transaction of £5k?
Why isn't this a fixed amount instead of a percentage?
Considering it's all computerised does £5k use more electricity that £5?
There's no human work involved at their end.
There's nothing about this fee that justifies a percentage of a sale or even justifies the fee itself.
It's a blatant money grabbing scam.

Regulatory operating fee is a scam

It's clearly a fee in disguise though.

Started for one reason but really that money we pay with this fee goes towards giving private account users (including businesses using the private accounts) completely free to sell clothing, all the promos for private accounts including the month of 0 fees back around April and the incentive for those on private accounts trading as a business to go legal now.

Oh and any fee promos for business sellers were also revoked a long time ago to pay for eBay's kind gesture to those trading illegally on private accounts.

Nice of them eh?
