Random Promotion Code - Lucky 8

Hi,

I’ve noticed tonight on some of my listings it has get 8% off with lucky8 promo code.

As anyone else got this on their listings too? Trying to figure out why it would be on my listings when I’m not currently running any coupons at the moment and it’s the first time I’ve heard of lucky 8

Can anyone shed any light at all please?

I looked at your newly listed items and couldn't see this promo.

eBay however,  do add their own promotions to listings,  the buyer would therefore, receive the 8% off when paying but you would receive the full amount shown on the listing.

Nope,  you're all good, and will receive all the monies in your original listing.

Hopefully, the promo will attract that rarity,   some buyers! 🤗

I think most sellers are saying the same but can’t believe how quiet eBay is at the moment and such low sales

This caused a problem for me as I was running a 30% off coupon until the end of the month. I noted a drop off in sales, and then discovered the ebay 8% coupon had been applied without my knowledge, and it was then the only coupon visible on a search view, so the buyers could only see the ebay one, and getting a worse deal. If you have any form of discount running, and have this ebay coupon applied to your listings, check as your own discount will be invisible on search view.
