For the last two days I've been trying to book a delivery on Evri's website and can't get it to go through. I use Evri fairly often (3-4 times a month) and never had this problem before.
When I enter the card payment details and click to pay, the usual pop up box for Natwest's Mobile App Approval appears (I am using a Natwest card to pay), I approve the payment in my Natwest mobile app, but then the pop up box goes white and the Evri screen freezes. The payment either doesn't go through or Evri don't accept the payment, but whatever the problem is, the delivery payment isn't taken out of my bank and the screen doesn't progress to the usual Evri screen with the booking reference, 6 figure code or QR code etc.
I've cleared cookies on my laptop and restarted it, tried different browsers on my laptop (Firefox and Opera), tried my phone browser (Firefox) to try and make the booking, tried different days in case the problem gets fixed overnight with an update at Evri or Natwest, but still no joy. I also cancelled the original booking and started the booking from scratch again, but the same thing happened and the payment and booking keeps failing.
I've spoken to Natwest today and everything seems to be fine with my account and their end of the payment. Trying to get through to a real person at Evri is like trying to get through to God though.
I've had a trawl of various internet forums to see if anyone else has had or is having this problem and drawn a blank as well. Odd and very frustrating.
Anyone else having this problem and/or know what else to try to get the payment to go through and the booking to complete?
