Post office closures

I live in a rural area 10 miles away from a large town. My village post office which was only open part time is closing altogether as is the one in the next village. So I will now need to drive 10 miles and pay for parking if I want to post royalties Mail parcels. I have been and will continue to use and pay for the collection service as it will now definitely be cheaper and more convenient.   I also use in post lockers. I’m wondering how long it will be before post offices are as rare as hens teeth

We have lost our post office in our village ( largest village in Cornwall) and in the next 2 and we are reliant on a pop up service run by a great guy who does many small villages in the top end of Cornwall who have lost theirs. 
I am one of those who doesn’t buy online postage and pay the full price in order that these pop ups continue to run because in my eyes if they can’t make any money they will cease to exist.

They not only do mail but offer many other services, that help people in the community, like banking and bill paying…

I am old school. I don’t want to run my whole life online….
