Policy Violation - Can't delete Seller Hub Active Listing

So I have a strange one here and think it's a Technical Bug in Ebay, but unsure how to resolve.

95 days ago I received a Policy Violation for a Givenchy Dummy Scent Bottle. I had inadvertently placed it in the wrong category (scent bottles instead of an advertising item) so the Ebay system flagged it as a Policy Violation (shame the system couldn't give you an option to change the category first).

The listing wasn't removed from my active listings, but was removed from being active and I selected to appeal in the case, which then greyed out the option to end the listing (I assume because it had been ended by Ebay). I heard nothing about the appeal so had a chat with Ebay and was told it would disappear after 90 days. That is true if the listing had been ended in my seller hub and placed in the unsold items list, which it hasn't.

I now have an item in my active listings list in the seller hub which isn't active and renews every 30 days in the list. It's now over the 90 days, how will this item ever be removed from my active list (even though it isn't active)? There's no options on the listing except to choose resolve, so takes me to the case so can't do anything as it's all greyed out.

Any help would be appreciated.

eBay's advice on this, and similar problems where the listing is not automatically removed after the required time has passed, is to call customer service who are able to remove the problem listings manually...
