For a while now I have had trouble with a blank box being shown instead of a picture in certain Ebay emails. The problems occur with the the following emails -
"You have received an offer....."
"We've sent you counter offer to the buyer........"
"You have received a counter offer of........."
When viewed in my online Yahoo Mail account, the images do show up but when I download the emails to my email client on my computer, the images are missing. All other emails from Ebay are fine. I have been discussing this with Ebay and I would like to know if others have the same problem. Can you tell me if the images show up in your email client? I would need to get a few answers to see if this is a universal problem.

Yes, they do. In fact, any images that an eBay member has attached to an eBay message show up because they are embedded in the body of the email itself. Some content (like the other user's ID and feedback rating) are blocked because they are "remote content"; i.e. the source of the content is eBay's website rather than being something that is embedded in the email itself - I can unblock this content by clicking a notification.
I suspect the problem is with your local email client rather than eBay; which email client are you using?

We have this problem, haven't before! Can you let me know how to click 'notification'. I can't see where to do it, but it can't be rocket science to work this out!

Which email client are you using; i.e. Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc?
