Good morning
We sell overseas via eBay's global shipping programme. We have never had a return request before.
However, we have had two return requests in one week now, one being a key that costs £9.00 (they ordered the wrong key number for their outboard)
The return reasons have been "did not like ", another one "does not fit" . As much as we put in the advert please contact us prior to ordering if unsure, sometimes they ignore this.
What is the procedure when buyers return via global shipping. I know we are covered and eBay deal with this, but, will we receive a invoice for the return costs etc, does the buyer pay the return costs depending on what reason they select like UK eBay returns?
Best wishes

If the buyer has changed their mind or ordered the incorrect item (as it is in this case), then it is entirely the buyer's responsibility to return the item and to bear the cost of that return. How they choose to return it is entirely up to them. You will likely find that they won't return it due to postage costs and the return request will close itself down after a while.

BEWARE
many buyers claim NOT AS DESCRIBED then you need to provide the cost of return , or a return method at your expense

Good morning
Yes, we have noticed buyers are abusing the return systems to avoid paying the return costs.
However, we have not had that happen with global shipping yet.
