You are speaking to other ebay users here not ebay themselves.
You need to contact customer services.
Was the item you returned a change of mind or item not as described?

Ebay worldwide must get 10 / 20 000 messages like your 'I want my money back each day'. An impossible-to-handle total, so they expect you to chase this matter up with the seller, after a month, maybe 2 months when you get nowhere with him or her will they then enter into this matter. If you had acted quickly in notifying them then they would have blocked his payment until this matter is resolved. If you failed to act in time and he was paid out then this issue becomes problematical. Judging from your name and the quality of your written remarks English is not your first language, and it might well be the seller feels justifiably annoyed with you. You need to speak to Citizens Advice and learn from them the www-online selling law/s. Citizens Advice service collapsed years ago, and just getting through to them on the phone can takes 4-calls, with waiting times of up to 1 hour just to speak to an advisor, your best course of action is to contact VISA, COMPLAIN, AND ASK THEM TO NOT PAY HIM, the chances are they have already done so, but it is worth a try. Visa really do pull out the stops if you have a legitimate complaint.

When did you take up employment with them?

I am very dissatisfied about an item that I sold on EBay, which the customer said they wanted to return, which they never did. EBay refunded the buyer and the buyer has kept my saddle. After Ebay apparently told her she could. They have closed the case. I have lost a saddle valuation of £850. Not happy

It sounds like your buyer opened an "item not as described" case. In these cases the seller is required to send a pre-paid return label to the buyer - via the case - in order to get their item back. There's no point arguing with the buyer nor eBay; it's an automated process. If the seller fails to send the buyer a pre-paid return label by the third day (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) the buyer can ask eBay to step in and will receive a full refund and be told they don't need to return the item. The same happens if the seller asks eBay to step in and they haven't sent a return label.

This is not fair on the seller, as I ticked no return.
"No returns" means no remorse returns; i.e. if there's nothing wrong with the item the buyer can't return it because they've simply changed their mind. However, if the buyer claims there is something wrong with the item and opens a case for the item not being as described the seller is held to be at fault. As mentioned, INAD return cases are automated; if no return label has been sent the buyer wins automatically on the third day if they escalate the case.
When your buyer opened the case it would have informed you that you needed to either send a return label, issue a full refund or offer a partial refund (I'm not sure if the last option is always available). The case would also have told you the date you needed to do one of these by before the buyer could ask eBay to step in and help (which is what the buyer did). eBay doesn't check who is in the right or wrong; any mediation will only happen after you send a return label and receive the item (or whatever the buyer sends) back.

I didn’t understand that I had to send a returns label. As eBay had my address. The buyer has now stolen my saddle. Can I take this to the Ombudsman now?
The Ombudsman isn't going to be able to help as eBay refunded the buyer in line with their Money Back Guarantee policy; they did this because you failed to send a return label or issue a refund in time. In your shoes I would message the buyer asking for the saddle back offering to pay return shipping. If they don't respond or refuse to return it you can file a report with Action Fraud and see if they are willing to investigate. Even if you pursued a small claim against the buyer and won you wouldn't be guaranteed to get your money back as a judgement is exactly that. One potential stumbling block to even winning a small claim is the way eBay tells buyers they don't need to return the item when they win a MBG case by default.

They won't listen. If you are a seller I sugges you move your business elsewhre.
You can't even leave reviews after a phone call with one of their overseas team who are not helpful.

Done that and then nothing, seems that there is no customer services. So now stuff eBay not going to use the platform, to many sellers lie on listings now it is getting worse.

I purchased a fluorescent tube for my light 0n the 7th feb 2023 and it stopped working in Docember. I asked the seller to replace it and he has refused. I would assume he would give me 12months to be told no you only get 28days. If I had known the guarantee was 28 days I wouldn't have purchased it. I have been a very good customer, but now you won't get any more from me.

Was it a private seller or a business seller? You have consumer rights to fall back on if you purchased from a business seller; you don't if you purchased from a private seller.
Before you reply I suggest you open a new thread about your specific problem as this thread is concerned with complaints about eBay's own customer services.
