This is an interesting development. It has certainly caused the Ebay share price to spike today so the market likes it.

It will make a nice change from all of the Ali-express and Temu ads in marketplace!

Unless it's fully integrated (which it won't be) to return search results from eBay intermixed with marketplace search results it will be *bleep*.

I've read that the market likes it because of the involvement of Meta, as this is adding oxygen to the flame as there have been whispers on the markets that Meta is showing interest in eBay.  Germany, France and US listings only at the moment.

Big spike though!
