Ebay Start-Up Award

Hi, I was given a call earlier this year to confirm and congratulate me on winning the start-up award as well as the £10,000 grant and that I will be contacted November/December. However, I did not receive any emails or follow up call regarding this. Can you please advise.

Thank you for your post.

Its possible that phone call was in relation to being nominated for the award. The list of nominees is then shortlisted here and as per the link provided by another member the overall winners were announced in November.

I understand that could be a possibility. However, I spoke to a Member of the ebay team via video call which in which they informed me that I had been chosen for the start-up award and that they wanted to let me know first and that it will be announced later in November/December for everyone. Please advise.

So an illegal breaker with no license who has 99.1% feedback, and looking at said feedback lies about posting items and accusing buyers, has won the start up award 🤦🏼‍♂️

I'm sure BMW are also thrilled at you driving down their prices on modules to £4 as well. If I was giving away my items then I'd grow as fast as this guy too.

Who also displays his phone number in his description.

I'm not taking sides here but just how do you know he's an illegal breaker with no licence? If you have proof then do please let everyone know.

Anyway, at least they're actually registered as a business - one step up from the guy who won a few years back who had a Business selling trainers. On a Private account...

And at least the OP had nothing to hide and posted using ID which linked to his actual account rather than creating an account especially to post an unsubstantiated accusation. An account created for a single post usually has either an ulterior motive or something to hide. Either way it's not a good look...

As usual with these forums everyone concentrating on something insignificant rather than the actual issue.

To break vehicles legally you require your licence to be displayed in your business details on Ebay. There is also a register and I don't see his company listed.

Let's also ignore the fact that displaying your contact number on ebay is classed as outside trading attempts and I'm sure many have had their listings removed due to that. 

Thirdly, my account hasn't been started to post on a thread ?! I've been on ebay 8 years and you're allowed multiple accounts, the reason for my account is nothing at all to do with you. 

But sure thats the issue here.
