99% of what I send is RM letter & large letter. I use RM's click & drop which imports the orders from ebay & then automatically sends back to ebay a "tracking" number for the large letters. RM large letters are NOT tracked but ebay are using these "tracking numbers" to raise my customers expectations with fantasy delivery dates & false promises of tracking the progress.
Is there any way I can get my orders into RM's click & drop & process them without RM sending back a "tracking" number that doesn't actually "track"? Is there another cost effective way to process 20-50 orders per day?
I'm looking to actively increase the volume of business I do on ebay but that is seeming to attract an increasing number of aggresive "WHERE'S MY X#@#X PARTS" messages & INR claims because a foot postie hasn't scanned my letters on delivery.

Hi.
On RM Click & Drop, go to Settings and then Miscellaneous. Turn off 'mark order as dispatched when label is generated' and this will stop RM uploading the delivery confirmation number.

This used to be disabled. When did they re-enable this?

I've had it turned off for the last 5 years.

Hi.
You are correct. This option is disabled within settings/integrations, but you can override it by turning it off in settings/miscellaneous.

Hi guys,
Mine seems to already be off but I've managed to accrue 3 late flags in the last 2 weeks unfortunately.
Seems from the terminology here that they want to see items have been dispatched on time? My dispatch time is 12-noon, which gives me plenty of time to prep and pack, then get orders to the RM depot before the first lorry arrives at 4:30pm. Now what I do is wait till around 3:45pm and get any additional new orders dispatched well ahead of their noon deadline 'tomorrow'.
From what I can gather, I think I should have the order marked as dispatched and print all of my labels before 12-noon. I wonder if that will help. I'll check the eBay dashboard and see if all of the orders have the 'tracking' data added to them consistently accross the board. Currently, some of the orders have it and some don't. Some have it at the start, get delivered and then although the customer has left me feedback, eBay is showing it as pending delivery.
I had big hopes to reach top rated seller status in November to boost my listings visibility, but now I'm on a tight-rope and even if I do get it, it'll be almost impossible to get to 1000 transactions and not exceed 2 more late deliveries...which ironically might be legitimate and expected.

Your account will pick up a defect because of a courier's late delivery, even when tracking demonstrably proves that you dispatched on time...

Thank you....so it seems to me then, that the best thing to do is add another days dispatch time to give the courier a slightly wider window. I'm currently on same day dispatch for orders by 12 noon. I'll widen it to 1 day dispatch.
Pity as all customers have been happy so far and I've been done here on a technicality twice in the same week, even though I dispatched both well within the dispatch time.

Hi.
The example given in this thread couldn't be removed as 2nd Class doesn't receive an acceptance scan.

Hi.
What service did you use? If you used a tracked service that shows an acceptance scan within your dispatch time these can be appealed and removed.
If you used 1st/2nd Class you don't get an acceptance scan that shows on the website and tracking only updates when delivery has been attempted.

Sorry for the delay, I didn't get a notification for your reply.
I use Royal Mail 48 sir. I requested to remove via eBay but they promptly declined and said that the decision was final.
Is the acceptance scan the one that the collection chap does when he scans the Royal Mail manifest? If so, those will all have been well within the dispatch window. I'll email Royal Mail and ask for something that could help as evidence perhaps?
I'm so gutted as im quite new to selling on eBay and was really banking on getting Top Rated Seller status at the end of this month to boost my visibility in the search results 😞

Just get then to call you and have them removed tell them you have an account and they will remove.
I did that this morning as i had 3 on the system that did not get removed automaicly, so got a call back all sorted.

My volumes aren't as high as yours and I managed to negotiate some very reasonable RM24 fully tracked large letter rates (with collection thrown in) from Royal Mail. With a business account you can then access very good international business fully tracked pricing too. Saves 99% of my eBay metric issues and many hours customer service. The way standard ll prices have increased suddenly fully tracked at volume is a really viable option.

Update:
So about a week or so after my last post in this thread, I checked my seller hub and low and behold - all of the late deliveries had vanished. I can only assume that the buyer's must have checked the option which said that the item arrived on time. So it seems like, the tracking information will show deliveries late by default if they arrive after the eBay guide time, but if customers over-rule this when giving feedback, it nullifies it.
That being said, who knows if I'll check my seller hub tomorrow and see another 10 late deliveries in there as it doesn't appear to have updated itself for about 2 weeks now, particularly showing out-dated sales volume data (ie, the same figure). I'll update back here for reference soon so that people can gauge an idea of how this works.
