Just wondering if anyone had tried ending an ongoing campaign and restarting it after 24 hours (advice received from customer services to help sales pick up) notice if it increases sales/activity?
I can see the logic behind it, like listing a new item and it having an effect on the algorithm but guessing if there is any increase in sales/activity from restarting it, it will only be short lived? My campaign has been running for several years but worried if I stop and restart it, it will have the opposite effect and things end up worse?

I cancelled all campaigns last week and was considering closing our eBay store as sales are just so dire now. April was the worst month for sales since selling on here for 25 years. I restarted the campaigns as I had heard this sometimes picked up sales and I’ll be honest sales have picked up however our offsite campaign is no longer working and our listings are no longer showing on Google. I think it’s because it takes a long time to propagate listings on eBay. Or it’s all just coincidence ?

I closed my shop and ended all my listings as it was so bad. I’ve opened a basic shop and I’m adding items back on, and sales are trickling through. I think it is just generally quiet at the moment.

Thanks for information. Was just cautious whether to take the leap of faith and end campaign I have had running for several years, the campaign is just for standard promotion but didn't want to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Thanks for info. Yes I agree, things are quiet anyway but it is trying to work out what is a normal down turn like economy, time of year etc and what are restrictions, algorithm, changes on site etc related that you can try and rectify if you had a clue trying to fathom out.

From my experience last week ending your campaign and restarting it won’t make any difference if anything it might help

Thanks, I will give it a go. If anything probably nothing to loose and all to gain.

All I can say is ebay isnt what it used to be and you must also sell on other platforms to survive.
