Disparity between total number of listings in Seller Hub & view all items

This was mentioned in another thread somewhere but I can't find it.

The disparity in mine is getting larger, 39 today.

The total listings shown in seller hub is 1454. If I follow a link from my profile to my listings, or to my shop, it shows 'search all 1415 items'.

It looks likes like something to do with renewed GTC taking a while to show in the total.

If I go to the last page, the recent renewals are missing, but do show if specifically searched for.

The number missing at the end when compared to the last page in seller hub doesn't match the disparity though.

Is this just the total not being updated in real time and only indexed every few hours or something, or is there a bigger problem of listings being hidden?

No MVLs. 

14 GTC that recently renewed are not showing on the last page. 

I watched this before and they do eventually show, but then more recent renewals don't show.

I could understand if it's just slow to update, but the total is 39 short of the 1456, not just the 14 recent ones.

It's a pity I can't set the items per page to the same on both pages, it would make it easier to work out which page the missing ones are on.

I might be something to do with the way eBay splits the pages.

If I set to 60 per page, p24 is the last, which has the full 60 shown.

There should be a p25 with the remainder but there isn't. 

If I refresh I can see listings being added at the bottom as some roll off the top of page 1, but there's a delay while they fall into the hole which should be p25.

All that sort of makes sense but it's that the disparity is a lot larger than that hole that is more worrying. I should have 1456 listings total, as shown in Seller Hub.

My total is now showing 1412 when it should be 1456.

I've had another thought on this:

Could it be that the count sees some of my listings as duplicates?

For example I have signed and unsigned copies of the same book on separate listings.

Or I have the same album on CD and LP listed.

This has been an on/off glitch for some time.  My account can say I have up to 30 listings less than I know I have, then the problem will suddenly clear and then numbers will be correct.

One of a number of recurring glitches. At the moment I have had a problem with my traffic page for the last two months or so - at the moment my traffic page is apparently running a day behind, either that or ebay is showing me the wrong date. Who knows. ebay certainly doesn't.

I've a feeling some of the stats use a US timezone.

The traffic page is a glitch - I have to fiddle about to get it to change days as it won't do it automatically.
