Christmas Delivery Timeframes Extended already?

Im not sure if its a temporary glitch or eBay have decided to extend delivery times early this year but has anyone noticed this afternoon there delivery timeframes have increased quite dramatically? usually on a friday i will see delivery estimates between tuesday and thursday next week but im currently seeing anything up to a week monday now, (Royal Mail 48)

i thought it might just be me but a few other sellers i've clicked on seem to be showing the same timeframes.

Yup, my 'Next day service', is showing Wednesday-Thursday. It should be Tuesday.

I've looked at orders delivery estimates from similar times last friday and it looks as though it happened then too so im hoping its just a temporary friday glitch, hopefully one day the tech team will actually take note of all our complaints regarding it not working as designed. 

I have a pattern on saturday mornings (up until around 11am) where ebay estimate deliveries between Monday and Tuesday, then it flips to Wednesday/Thursday after 11am, almost like clockwork week in week out (i dont send anything on weekends). 

but that will be it "working as designed" according to ebay.
