I've not listed any auctions for years but I've got a few job lots to get rid of so I thought I'd give them a try. Except I can't.
I have 'require immediate payment' ticked on my existing BIN policy but I can't list an auction because it tells me I can't require immediate payment on auctions. I know this - and in the past I've just unticked the require immediate payment option.
But the only option now is to create a new policy. Except I can't do this either. If I create a new policy called Auctions but untick immediate payment, it tells me it's the same as my existing policy and I need to edit that instead.
Why is every thing so hard and counter-intuitive on eBay? It's just not possible to list a simple auction, and there's no way I'm turning off immediate payment required for all my listings.

Obviously yet another eBay glitch as the newly created 'auctions' policy is now showing up, despite eBay repeatedly telling me I couldn't create it.

A workaround may be to create a new policy called Auctions and either include/ exclude an extra country or make a minor adjustment to the postage cost/ or add secondary postage option with a different rate

In your postage policies, look for 2 that start with 'Ebay Managed Payments'
I have two of these, one for immediate payment and one which isn't which I use for auctions.
I am sure that I didn't create these and they were automatic policies, the same as the collection policy.
I have to toggle between the two if I create an auction.
Best to look on a laptop by the way and not the app.
Edit - they are in payment policies.

Thanks. I said I've not listed any auctions for years, not made any listings. I'm fully aware of managed payments and switched years ago.

Except they're not. I only have one payment policy under business policies, have only ever had one and I can't create another one. I'm not in the app, nor a laptop, I'm on a desktop PC.
