have this problem too

Workaround for now: open a sellers hub, use a bulk editor (checkboxes) to open your listings and specify the weight value there.

That's a lot of work for c1400 listings, as it looks like the weight has been removed from all of them.

I've just tried a dummy run to create RM labels just now, and it looks like the weights are still stored for existing listings, it's just that they're not visible or available to edit.
I'm hoping the new listings I used sell similar to create will have copied the weights across.

Hi All,
Thank you for your posts.
A ticket has been opened with tech for this to investigate further. I'll add your accounts to it and once there is further updates I will post back.
Thank you,
Kat

The weights and dimensions have disappeared from all my listings too. I have had to turn off global shipping because how can eBAY know how much to charge for shipping if the information isn't there?

I would also like to point out that I don't use eBay's Global Shipping Services or anything like that. What I use is postage policies and some of my policies will calculate shipping costs using a package weight multiplied by a rate from a table of international rates (per country basis).

This what I see on the page.

Anything happening with this? It's making it difficult to list anything.
The only way round it is to pick an existing listing with the same weight (not visible on listings, so have to guess) and use sell similar.
Does eBay use these weights to calculate GSP shipping?

Nothing happening so far. I have contacted my "account manager", he recommended to clear cookies, as one would expect 🙂
The other workaround is to open a few listings using a bulk editor (if you are using a Sellers Hub) and change the weight values there.

I tried that but still couldn't see the weight values.
I'll have another go today, in case I wasn't doing it the right way.

OK, I've managed to find the way to change the weight (under package details in bulk edit).
Doesn't show existing weight, and no way to know if it has updated until an item sells.

The bulk editor does what it is supposed to do and all changed values will be updated. You can open a listing as a regular ebay visitor and click on "Postage: See details" then recheck shipping costs to a selected country (assuming the shipping costs change according to a postage weight).

I use GSP, so it's not so easy, but I could create a table of costs for particular weights to check against.
I wonder what happens if the weight is wrong for GSP (does eBay even use the wight value to calculate cost?).
e.g. if a listing has 100g in the field, but it actually weighs 2kg.
