Business V Private

I have been registered as a business on here for about 15 years, I also have an Ebay shop and a physical shop. I sell mainly antiques and collectibles.
I have recently reactivated my private Ebay account to sell a few personal items after many years. I sold an item on my business account for £65.00 and received a payment to my bank account for £55.85. The same day I sold an item on my private account for £65.00 and received £65.00 into my account.
No shop fees on the private account, no listing fees and no selling fees. Where is the incentive to follow all the rules? Are we business sellers now funding the private sellers?

There aren't any incentives to do things properly, those who do, including me, are the mugs.

Re: Business V Private

A prime example of how Private registered sellers can now undercut a business seller.

As British Ceramics says below, "There aren't any incentives to do things properly, those who do, including me, are the mugs."

Spot on, ebay have decided to hammer business sellers to subsidise the private sellers.
