Brazil, incorrect documentation.

Item sent via Royal Mail so everything should have been correct.

I rarely get a foreign sale so now stopped using international postage or global shipping.

I also no longer buy from abroad.

If they can stop my sales I can stop my buys too.

Brazil, incorrect documentation.

eBay's Global Shipping Program make exporting worldwide so easy, that we forget that individual Sellers need to check what extra info is required for different countries. With Brazil you need the Buyer's CPF or Personal Tax ID number. Also because Customs is usually very slow, I personally will only send with a Tracked Service.

Brazil, incorrect documentation.

For Brazil you must add the addressee's personal tax number (CPF) number in the address line

I sell occasionally to Brazil are rarely have problems as long as the CPF number is included within the address.

Some Brazilian buyers already know this and will have this included in the address, others are unaware and you will need to message them as ask for the number. Failure to include the CPF number within the address will result in a non-delivery and eventually the package will be returned back to the UK.

...and others seem very reluctant to provide it, but I just tell them I can't post without it!

Brazil, incorrect documentation.

Not previously had any resistance when requesting the CPF number.

By strange coincidence I made a sale to a buyer in Brazil overnight and they have not provided the CPF number so I have just messaged them to request this.
