To cut a long story short...In my teens I was a huge Michael Crawford fan...I stalked him for weeks when he was in Billy Liar at the Palace Theatre Manchester.
A few weeks back one of the topics up for discussion was "who was your first autograph" and after I'd said Michael I got reminiscing so decided to email him and ask if he remembered any of it....anyway this morning I got this back...
Not what I wanted to hear..... as he is single and did think he may come and whisk me away but hey....
he did put on the bottom of the photo " Happy Memories" :-x anyway he's starring in a West End musical shortly so guess where my Vinyl LP of "Billy Liar" will be off to shortly....

Jane, now that i really like:) He has to be one of the best all round entertainers in the business.

I have the utmost respect for Michael, especially when i found out that he performed his own stunts in Some mothers do have em.

I have a simlilar picture he sent me some 35+ years ago seems really strange.....he's grown really handsome as an older bloke...he was really skinny when he was younger!
