Greg - each Saturday I take my daughter out for a few hours to give my wife a break, give my daughter an outing she enjoys (she loves shops and bye bye eat), plus I get a mooch out of it. All good. 🙂 We go somewhere different each Saturday out of a pool of 5 towns. It means by the time we visiit each town, a month or so has passed so there is normally a different set of books to mooch through.

Hunting second hand book shops is a great way to spend an afternoon, I just wish mine were as successful as yours, Nigel. Amazing finds.

Good old Murray walker...is that in Green ?

The first four finds were great finds Nigel but the Jackie Stewart book was an amazing find for £3 . I must get my  copy off to him in the new year , well done to you mate .

Definitely agree about Jackie's signature Alex - easily one of the most attractive signatures out there. This is my 2nd signed copy from a charity shop. It is indeed a chunky monkey!

The Road of Bones HB 1/1 2006 by Anne Fine. £1

 

A very popular author who has written many books. She is possibly best known for her children's books, and also Madame Doubtfire which was filmed as Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams.
