It will be brilliant for some, and crap for others.
Forum users used to html will hate this forum as bad scripting means that attempts by eBay to format and paragraph posts is breaking most html tags, most notably the IMG SRC tag.
Also, typical square bracketed tags do not work well for similar reasons.
It has not been tested well with different browsers. We all use different browsers. Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome being the most popular, but also Opera and Safari are widely used. Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari are all based on the same technology, but designers find Chrome, Opera and Safari to be the quickest.
Each of the browsers has hundreds of different settings, and many of them can cause different results when viewing a web page. That is why some get no problems, and others see things completely differently and struggle. For example, in Internet Explorer, if you go to Tools - Internet Options - Browsing History and Settings, you can choose how the browser loads the web page. I always have mine set to refresh every time I visit the page, so I reduce the chances of getting a cached page and get fresh content.
Trial and error with each glitch will eventually lead to a better experience for those with problems.
I personally think eBay have made a major bodge, and handled the rollout incredibly badly. Change was not needed, so they did not have to rush it through. They should have spent more time testing, and planning a smoother rollout. However, when all the fixes are eventually made, it could be very good indeed. It is getting there, but needs more time.
