I picked up these bargains.

A first edition signed copy of Eamonn Holmes autobiography " This is my Life" it even has a WHS signed by the author sticker on the front of the dustjacket.,,Nice graph he has.

This Toyah Willcox book "Diary of a face lift" has been on the shelves in the Accrington store for a few months now, they had got down to their last 2 or 3 copies but today there were another dozen on the shelf, Rifled through them to find not one but two signed books, both with "Best Wishes Toyah Wilcox...x" very nice for a quid each...Toyah played "Monkey" in that classic film Quadrophenia if I remember. Happy days

Alan. I thought the ref had got it totally wrong till I saw it again on Saturday night....It was the 96th minute mate..Pete murphy had just been announced as "Man of the match" too. Poor Pete.

Your local Poundland seems to do you proud Alex - great finds. I really like Eamonn's sig. I have quite few signed Toyah bits including that book - she signed mine via panto back in January.

Jammy Devil! They had some of the Toyah books in the Poundland in Plymouth when I looked a few weeks back,but none signed.Might have another wander down to them just in case!
