Tim kindly signed the 4x6 photo and record card I sent, plus sent a signed letter.

Imelda Staunton - 86 days

Imelda kindly signed the two photos I sent. She provided a voice for a recent episode of Doctor Who. Great actress.

Mark Bonnar - 198 days

Mark kindly signed the photo and record card I sent. He was excellent in a great two parter.

Also, I pre-ordered a bundle for the new Jane's Addiction album, The Great Escape Artist which included the cd, a t-shirt, and a signed poster. Well chuffed, as they are one of my favourite USA bands, and this new album is brilliant.

More great replies for your Dr Who collection Nigel and a nice buy although never heard of them i am not up too date in my music taste and as i play guitar i tend too listen too a lot of Blues music and early Pink Floyd among a few other 70s bands.

But you buy a lot of signed Cd's are these investment or do you like all the artists you buy.?

#6 Sy - I mainly go for bands/acts I like, but in recent years have extended that slightly. If any sites I use are doing a cheap promotion for a band I have never heard of, I will check them out on the web, and if I like them get the signed release. It is the rare flip side of autograph collecting that has introduced me to new artists who have become favourites as a result of an autograph. A good example is Burn The Negative - an electro pop/rock act from Carlisle. I picked up a signed copy of their album How To Weigh The Human Soul in a sale for £1.99. It has become a favourite album of mine, and I had never heard of them before. I also of course am not adverse to picking up cheap signed cds/vinyl in charity shops. 🙂
