Glyn kindly signed my 8x5 inch Watford FC card. Best known for his Wimbledon and Sheffield United years, he spent 4 years at Watford making over 100 appearances and was voted player of the season in 1989.

Nigel, thanks for the run down of your support. I have attended Cobblers games since I was five (65/66) and our one and only season in the top division. I don't remember a single minute of that season unfortunately and I have never attended all games in any one season though I still make over 30 games every season.

Thanks for your help Ralph. Memory is a funny old thing. I can remember a lot of games quite vividly, but not a thing from many matches/seasons. I wrote to Graham Taylor a few years back and got him to sign the programme for the my first game. I explained to him in my letter that I do not remember any action on the pitch for that match, just the occasion and fleeting images of people enjoying themselves.
