Two more charity purchases

Not really supposed to be buying much, but they have had some great stuff that fills gaps in some of my collections, and these two at £5 each were cheaper than I could ttm them to the USA and back.

Edward Herrmann

Great actor, someone I admire a lot, and have failed to get by ttm on two occasions. This was a must as it was on a Lost Boys image, and gives me my 9th autograph from the film.

Digressing a bit - I did try Kiefer by ttm a few years back, but got the standard secretarial. It was believed the same person who did his was also the person behind Paul Newman's at the time.

Josh Hopkins

Josh has done a lot of USA tv work but I only really know him as one of the regulars from Cougar Town. This is my fifth autograph from Cougar Town.

Re: Two more charity purchases

Two very nice additions, Nigel. Love the Lost Boys photo.

I know that phrase "not supposed to be buying much" very well. That's when you always see the things you really would like.

Re: Two more charity purchases

I have a pic signed by Corey Feldman and Jamie Newlander as the Frog Brothers, Brooke McCarter, Billy Wirth and Chance Michael Corbitt on a triple signed pic in character from the film, Corey Haim, Dianne Wiest, Brooke McCarter, Chance Michael Corbitt on solo pics.

I thought Alex Winter was there as well, but must have been mistaken.

Like a lot of my smaller entertainment collections, I tend to pick off additions very occasionally when I see a bargain.

A favourite film of ours, and always will be. We have the sequels also which were surprisingly not too bad considering the low budgets.

Re: Two more charity purchases

Great pick ups Nigel. Lost Boys is a classic - I remember trying to see it at the cinema, but we were under 15 so couldn't get in.

Here we go Carl. Caught me at a good time. Just finished some chores, so now some me time. Gonna write a couple of vintage Who requests now. Smiley Happy

All the pics are 8x10 or 10x8 size and either came from the former dealer MSPG (Mick Spring) or Autograph World in the USA.
