This was one of the 3 for £1 books I sent off with recycled stamps both ways. HB 1/1 from 2006. Book was nearly new in condition, so a total cost of 33p is a true bargain for a signed book from a British soap legend and totally one-off character who will always be remembered. Very pleased with all the books I sent like these. Will have to do another batch soon.

Just done a batch of 4 books myself Nigel...all 4 for a £1..cracking books too....from the same shop I got that bagful for a £1 last year.

One of the books in only a couple of months old!  Like you all recycled stamps....but had to fork out £2 for padded envelopes.

It's got to be done Alex. I have been recycling jiffies and board backed envelopes lately as well. Really trying hard to keep the cost of the hobby down as much as possible.
