Hi Guys, well got back home from work today to the following results....
John Downie....Downie was purchased by Manchester United from Bradford Park Avenue in 1949 for a British record of £18,000 and played his last game for the club in 1953. Downie scored 37 goals (including 5 FA Cup Goals) in 116 appearances for the club, also recieved a lovely letter from his wife...

Sammy Lee has kindly started off a Liverpool Match of my Life book which im hoping to add many more to and also a couple of my England crested cards
Steve Bull has kindly signed a couple of my England cards to direct from Wolves FC
I also wrote to Jack Crompton and he is the 2nd to sign my New Man Utd shirt project and also a couple of index cards
All is all a great return home from work!

Fantastic haul, Jamie. The reply from John Downie is pretty special though. Very sad but I'm sure his family appreciates that he is still remembered.
