This week's finds

The first find was a corker for £2. A softcover book about the Bond film Goldeneye. I was only flicking through it to look at the pictures, and was surprised when I saw the entry for Desmond Llewellyn signed by him. He is greatly missed as Q - a legend of the Bond films.

My second find still needs some verification as I have not found any exemplars to verify against as yet, and also have an email out to the author.

Sole Provider USA HB 1/1 2002 by Scoop Jackson

This is a limited edition bible for fans of basketball and Nike footwear. Quite an incredible in depth look at the subject. The inside cover appears to be sigend with a basketball doodle, but it may also be random writing. My gut feeling is that iot is teh author ESPN journalist Scoop Jackson. Paid £3 for this.

Quite funny I found this after getting my copy back signed ttm last week.

My Lively Lady HB 1/1 1968 by Sir Alec Rose

Also dated by Sir Alec who passed away in 1991.

Outstanding finds Nigel..What a find the bond book is...just as you have started that card collection from Christmas....and to find a Desmond Llewellyn graph in it...Brilliant mate.

How the Scoop Jackson turns out to be the real deal...That's an awesome find in itself.
