Quite a good week of finds with some interesting books.
Up first are three for £1 from my favourite shop that has served me well for some time now. Get a lot of my ttm books from here as well.
Rome Burning HB 1/1 2007 by Sophia McDougall. In a mylar cover and almost like new. She is an author of alternate history novels as well as a playwright and poet.
Kill The Messenger HB 1/1 1991 by Bernard Ingham
Best known as Margaret Thatcher's chief press secretary while she was PM. Nice this as it is dated as well, but I will have to read it now to find out why he wants to kill me. 😉
Douglas Hurd The Public Servant An Authorised Biography HB 1/1 1998 by Mark Stuart but signed by Douglas Hurd
Like buses - a second Douglas Hurd in consecutive weeks. I now have his own autobiography, this one, and one of his fictional novels signed by him. A major politician who served in both Margaret Thatcher's and John Major's cabinets.
My other find this week was for £2, but I am still researching it.
America : Back On Track USA HB 1/1 2006 by Senator Edward M. Kennedy
Whoever signed it, signed it in a hurry sideways on the fep. It does have some similarities with one of the Senator's signatures (there are some variations from what I have seen so far). Have not spent much time on this yet as have been busy.

For someone who said they won't be looking in as many charity shops as usual, you're doing awfully well, Nigel. Four excellent finds and I hope the Kennedy book is good.
