Following on from Jamie's posts re his excellent successes at the NEC on Sunday. I went to the show on Saturday and was disappointed at the number of guests who were originally listed as appearing who didn't turn up. Some non-attendees were advised on the web-site in advance but that's not really the point. Those who didn't show at the show were Kevin Sorbo; Albert Moses; Burt Kwouk, Brigit Forsyth, Tim McInerny, Nolberto Solano and Sammy Lee. I didn't see Leslie Phillips either and Dennis Wise was late - mind you, he was always late as a player if I recall! As I say, disappointing as I had bought a couple of things weeks ago purposely to get signed at the show and therefore couldn't. I've e-mailed the organisers before and had no reply, but have done so again and will let you know if they respond.

That's a real shame as Leslie Phillips was at the Tottenham/Swansea game on Sunday because he appeared on the TV!

That is a lot of no shows, and very disappointing. As Daz says, Leslie Phillips is tough ttm. I have never managed to get him to sign a pic for me despite several attempts, and the only success I had from him was when he signed a copy of his biography for me.
It is frustrating when you go to an event for certain people and they do not show up. When I went to the Sports show at MK last year, my main reason for attending was to get Andy Goram to complete a multi signed piece, and he was the main no show.
