Am already planning to get to Ledley King and Jennifer Saunders, but hope those days do not work out like this week.Would like to meet Ray Davies and David Jason, but looks like I am tied up with work stuff.

Was supposed to go to Clarke Carlisle's signing this week. Got to work at 07:30 so I could take a long lunch, had a couple of shirts with me as well, then got caught up in some mayhem at work which meant I could not go. Gutted, but Waterstones are awesome and took an order for a signed copy 5 mins before the signing was due to start.

Picked up my Clarke Carlisle book. If of interest Leadenhall have more signed copies of this, David Gower, and Jo Nesbo. Give them a ring.

Daz - you are right. It is the worst time of the year for signed books. I try to be picky and hope a few cheapies surface later.

Looking forward to Sir Alex Ferguson's new book and hoping to get to the "Evening With" show in Dublin in November.

David Beckham also has a book coming out next month. One of those 'Life In Pictures' style formats. No signings announced as yet and quite possibly he'll not do any but worth keeping an eye out in case they are announced at short notice.
