Ron Springett signed my '66 pic and FDC :-D

I sent one of the '66 celebration pic's and a FDC from the 1966 world cup final, signed by George Eastham and John Connelly, off to Ron Via Sheff Wednesday FC on the 12th of February. Today these have been returned by Ron Springett who made 33 appearances for England, then the most by any Sheffield Wednesday player. He held this record for 26 years. He made his England debut against Northern Ireland in 1959. He had been the first choice goalkeeper during the 1962 World Cup in Chile when England reached the quarter finals. His final cap was against Norway in 1966 shortly before the World Cup finals. He was a non-playing member of the England squad, that won the 1966 World Cup. Thanks very much.
