Really chuffed with this reply. Not sure if any of you watch this show - it can be found on the Bio channel and History channel. A very popular show that draws in about 7 million viewers in the USA on the History channel.
Pawn Stars has become my favourite tv viewing. It is so addictive! I love the eclectic variety of items that are brought into the shop, the amazing history behind some of the items, and the Harrision family (3 generations) plus Chumlee are just great personalities who work well on screen. You also get to see a lot of autographed items come through their shop which is interesting. Where you have an item of obvious importance they get a known expert to check things out as well. It has already run for five seasons with a sixth to come.
I sent a pic of them, and instead of signing it, they sent me two signed copies of the official 8x10 of the same pic.

I have actually watched one or two episodes of this show and it is intriguing. That is a great result though.

Sorry, forgot to say - took 9 days via the USA.

#3 & #4 Daz - yep, a great show we have enjoyed for a while now also. It was the news of the new season that prompted me to write. What I was surprised to find out today was the silly prices genuine handsigned pieces go for, and even scarier, the silly prices preprints go for.
I'm with virgin, it is certainly cheaper for tv than sky.

Update: Having seen these in person these are not genuine. Both are preprints, but someone has gone over the sigs on one preprint by hand. That's why they look different. Crafty buggers.

Can't say i have seen it Nigel, but a nice reply for you mate 🙂

What a let down !!!! Just seen lower post 😞
Are they big or something! Can't say personally that i have heard of them. Annoys me when celebs can't be bothered to sign for a fan!
Unlucky Nigel

shame they are pre prints Nigel. I've never seen the show but heard good things about it
15-08-2012 10:14 PM
Was going to say good reply, but then saw they're PPs which makes it a bit disappointing.
15-08-2012 11:40 PM
Pity about the PP's Nigel.
I watch the show on a regular basis...you never know what might be brought into the store on a daily basis...The old man always falls asleep....And don't buy anymore boats....Love the show.

I doubt if the Harrisons even saw my request. They have such a big team of staff it was probably one of them who did this. Have sent a msg through their website but doubt if it will reach the right people. I must admit though - I have never had a ttm reply before where someone has traced over a preprint with a pen to make it look real, but have seen some dodgy sellers on a popular online selling venue try it.

Shame about that Nigel. I like the show too. Can't believe that they preprint - not as if they are walking the red carpet every weekend.
