Peter Knowles ex Wolves reply

I wrote to Peter Knowles earlier this month at his work address (he retires at the end of this week)and had my pictures and cards back signed today.

Peter Knowles is an English former football player.He played for Wolverhampton Wanderers,where he became a popular player scoring around 101 goals in all competitions.He signed for Wolves in 1962 as a 17 year old,and he won England under-23 honours in 1967.He was tipped as the next George Best and to win a full cap before he became disillusioned with football and his lifestyle,and he quit his football career in 1970 after he became a Jehovah's Witness.

His brother Cyril Knowles played football for Spurs and England.
