One pre-order & last week's book

Today's post brought a great cd pre-order - the new release from Franz Ferdinand. Loking forward to listening to this in the next day or two. The cd came sealed with an extra insert booklet sent signed.

Last week, I picked up a HB 1/1 of The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. If you have not heard of her yet, you will do. I am not going to say much about her. Just google her and you will see a lot about her. It was only £12.99 which was a nice price for a hot debut signed 1st edition. Once I realised how hot, I picked up two more copies for selling, and have already sold one for £125. Hoping to sell the second one for a similar amount, and will be keeping a copy for myself. First time I have ever done this.

2 nice buys Nigel.   I hadn't heard of Samantha Shannon but have just looked her up, if the book is half as good as the hype that will be a great read.  Well done on spotting the re sell opportunity as well

What a great CD and books Nigel. I read an article on Samantha the other week - sounds like she is destined for big things.  Glad you are making a bit of cash with those good pick ups
