OKAY SOME PROBLEMS ALREADY IN COMP LEAGUE TABLE

Seems you can only edit a post once so unable too add too the league table which is a problem as it is better members see whats happening week by week i can keepp my own record but be easier if i can edit each week any ideas on how this works??????????????

Do you have your own web space you can build a page on? IF so, you coul dmaintan that, and just link to it.

There does seem to be an issue with editing, especially once someone replies to a thread or post.

Looks like edit options have either been changed or removed, as they were more open initially after the change. That is a shame, and spoils things again. It is a major issue for me, and really pisses me off.

I have to admit to being fedup with constant changes like this without warning, and taking away any kind of sensible control from the people using the groups. I genuinely thought some positive steps had been made after the new changes went live but now the key function has disappeared it putsme off using the forum, and I may stop posting until they fix it and stabilise.,

It is very annoying i will do a paper league table until such times they fix a simple little thing called edit post ,. 

CRAZY WHY ALLOW YOU TOO EDIT ONCE WHEN THE FACILITY IS THERE AS I AM EDITING THIS POST RIGHT NOW.

I am baffled now as this is the 2nd time i have been allowed too edit this post??????????????

I now see what they have done and it is so irritatingly stupid. A waste of scripting.

A new post can be edited, but it must clearly have some kind of time limit on it, so you have a limited window to make changes.

It prevents updates of information posts such as Sy's objectives, and for people who spot a mistake on a return visit, they cannot correct it.

I am guessing the time limit is about 5 mins as I can no longer edit my previous post from 09:05.

there is no time limit for mods it would appear nigel?

Bloody stupid if you ask me Nigel such an easy thing too leave in EDIT option if the MODS cannot edit a post then its gone backwards instead of forward I will painstakingly write up the league table each week when I post the results of the comp

I know it is a pain Sy but how about collating the results on a Word doc and then copying and pasting to the same message thread each week - should save time typing the same names each week.

Surprise, surprise Daz. The whole ebay control thing over editing really pisses me off. Honestly not sure if I can be bothered with it much longer.

It tells you who edited a post. That makes it perfectly clear the content was edited. Why restrict that with a stupid time limit? Idiots!
