No TTMs this week,but two purchases

I've sent out a few letters letely to ex players which hopefully I'll get replies to,but no replies this week which hasn't happened for a while.

Two purchases,one I bought tday,signed by the Brownlee brothers

My second received yesterday after I ordered a signed Rio Ferdinand book from Hatchards.

In a recent post someone mentioned Rio's shortened signature,so underneath I've posted one  got IP early in his West Ham career when he played at Plymouth on loan to Bounemouth.

Fantastic books. I was the one who was asking Matt about Rio's signature - thanks for posting that. I can kind of see why he got rid of the last bit - just a squiggle. I sometime get disappointed with the signatures of some of today's sports people. I know they sign lots of stuff, but a least make it look a little like the name you were given

I agree Rob,obviously those extra loops took too long for him to keep signing!

great purchases those Rob and nice books. Did think there was a full Rio sig as I mentioned on Nigel's post thanks for adding the photo anyway it confirms what I thought with the extra loop's etc but as far as im aware he's just signed RIO since his Leeds days not too much chance of getting a full one now I doubt ive tried a couple of times at the training ground with no luck

The Brownlee book is a really good addition, Rob. R's book is one for all footie collectors but I can't decide if his sig has improved over the years.

2 nice buys Rob I know what you mean when players get more sought after the sig gets worse I have some great examples of early john terry and frank lampard and how they have changed amazes me.
