New app for iphones with FREE Ali guide

Just finished adding a little app i have created for iPhones. It contains all the deatils about Autografica..... Facebook etc, plus a small photo library, links to my website and even a map just in case you want to drop in for tea!

But best of all it has my Muhammad Ali autograph guide included toofor FREE!. Now i have sold loads of these (well its into three figures anyway!) but have always wanted to give it away via the web, but never really found a good way of doing this, but this little app resolves the problem perfectly.

I can update it any time, and you will always have the latest version on your phone, and i can add more guides as time goes on too.

The Muhammad Ali one is live now, and i will be adding another after Xmas. This app sits on your phone so you can call it up anytime and check my website, or the guides etc, and i hope also to be able to offer my Quick Opinion service for eBay items etc in the same way very soon.

If you have an iPhone, and if you don't, then i suggest you get one as they are truly fab! then go to the ACAF forum (just Google ACAF) and you can send the app to your phone from there. Its all free, but only works fully on iPhones at the moment, although smart phones do show some of the pages.

Nice idea Garry. Will you be updating the app to work fully on Android phones as well as iPhone?

Perhaps it will work on Android phones later, but if i am honest, which i like to think i am, i have no idea how it works, i just put the relevant bits together, filled in all the right places, checked it, made some adjustments, and there it was!

I can add other guides and hope to add perhaps one per month time permitting, plus the abilty to be able to pay for Quick View eBay opinions and perhaps other similar things as well.

Recently had a great idea whicst at an auction that i think could be very usefull to many collectors, and the iphone and that little app may allow me to do it.

I am really taken with the phone itself and what it can do and how it can allow me and you to improve our ability to increase our productivity.

If you don't have an iphone, then get one, its ten time better than the HTC smart phone that i had before, its like comparing my old Volvo with a Bentley!

I think both Apple's iPhone and Google's Android have their plus points. I have the HTC Desire and it is a brilliant phone.

One stat from wikipedia - "Research company Canalys estimated in Q2 2009 that Android had a 2.8% share of worldwide smartphone shipments. By Q4 2010 this had grown to 33% of the market, becoming the top-selling smartphone platform. This estimate includes the Tapas and OMS variants of Android. By Q3 2011 Gartner estimates more than half (52.5%) of the smartphone market belongs to Android.."

My first smart phone was an HTC wildfire, but compared to this iphone it was a the car equivelent of a Wartburg!

This phone has changed the way i think about texting, tweeting etc, and it has so many fantastic apps that i could spend all day just playing with it (the phone that is!).

Yes, they are expensive, although mine cost me only £169 and £30 a month on contract, so it was not that bad, but now i have one, even if i had to pay the full price for it, i would buy one for sure.

The Desire came after the Wildfire and is a much better phone. It also has very good battery life for a smartphone which is a major bonus.

It's a really good idea, Garry. My phone is old and I don't use it that often so an iPhone would be wasted on  me. I'm sure this new app will prove very useful to a lot of people.

Believe me, if you had an iphone, you would be using much more often as its not juts a phone, indded that is only a very minor part of its make up.

Imagine it as a mini computer that you have in your pocket, as it will do so many things that you do on your PC now, and you can do them whilst on the train, waiting for a bus, even on the toilet (not tried that one yet!).

Its a genius piece of kit, i love it, and i used to think of a phone as a phone as well!

Having some serious problems with this software, never believe anyone when they say its easy to use etc, and if they mention the word free, it means its not and you will always have to pay more to get the free part!

Spent a little more time on this over Christmas and i have now created a website specificaly for mobile phones, so it will work on an smart phone.

You will need to go to my website (just type AUTOGRAFICA into Google) and you will see the litle ad top right. Click on that and download the app, then click the button that ppeares on your screen.

As long as you have a smart phone, you will then have access to either the full app (iphone) or a one page condensed version (Android etc) and from there you should be able to hten access the mobi site.

I will be expanding this, but for now you can use it to pay and get my quick opinion service for eBay items direct form yur phone to mine. So no matter where you are, and no matter if i am at home or not, i can still give you a quick opinion on any item on ebay. 

This mobi site can also be added to your screen on your phone for access at any time, and i hope to add the Ali guide an others over the coming week or so.

Now added the Ali guide to the mobi site, so as long as you have a smart phone you can read it OK. I will add another mid june, but i think it will only be possible to have two guides on at any one stage.
