a christmas card from Alex this morning, now i think i can safely presume Alex sent this BEFORE christmas which therefore makes me think royal mail are an absolute joke , ridiculous:-(

That's just Alex getting in early for Xmas 2011. 🙂

There is still a bit of a backlog to be cleared, so not surprised. I am still waiting to receive packages sent to me before Christmas, and also hear about packages I sent before Christmas and between Christmas/New Year.

THE POST THIS YEAR IS TERRIBLE, MY POSTIE IS OUT EVERY DAY WITH A LIGHT LOAD YET THEY HAVE A HUGE BACKLOG FROM THE BAD WEATHER, EVERYONES PURCHASES AND RESULTS ARE SITTING SOMEWHERE AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE GETTING DONE. MY POSTIE IS A FRIEND AND HE CANNOT UNDERSTAND IT, HAVE TO SAY IT IS ANNOYING TO SAY THE LEAST.

 i buy a local newspaper and i also live on a majority council estate, reading the letters in my local paper  alot are re no refuse service etc and  non postal deliveries in my area and alot of replies are from people who live in the so called "nicer" areas saying their post deliveries havnt been affected, seems strange to me how where people live can affect how post is delivered when theres been a back log due to weather/the holidays etc
i can only speak from where i live but royal mail should hang their heads in shame
