My first reply was from former Stoke City,Forest,Preston, Crewe,York and Torquay player Sean Haslegrave.

Sean played nearly 500 league games between 1970-1989.

I also had a reply back from Chris Garland to complete my cards sets of him.

Chris was a prolific scorer for Bristol City (twice) Chelsea and Leicester City.

Chris played between 1965-1983,and was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 1998.

My final reply was from John Byrom,who signed my team photo,picture and card,and he also added an old Blackburn photo of himself and a copy of some press cuttings from his career.

John Byrom started with Blackburn Rovers where he won England international youth honours, he played over 100 games for them before being signed in the summer of 1966 by near neighbours Bolton Wanderers. Originally signed to partner Francis Lee and Wyn Davies, when both players quickly left, Byrom became the senior striker. He scored 130 goals in his ten years at Burnden Park, including twenty when Bolton won the third division title in 1973 before moving back to Blackburn for a final season, retiring in 1977 with a knee injury.

Some more brilliant replies for you Rob - I never tire of seeing those old cards come back signed, they are brilliant. What a cracking reply from John Byrom also. It's lovely when they appreciate the interest and go that extra step to make it a special reply.
