I wrote to John Hurt 22/2/11 and received the reply today. Many thanks to the member who helped. Having seen past results where he had used a dodgy pen, I enclosed a mini-sharpie with my request. It seems to have worked as the result is nice and clear.

one of the best brit actors out there in my opinion,yes he sent me back an elephant man and rob roy pic signed with the awfull paint pen,it was totally ruined and smudged,sent them back at least 6 months ago,no sign of owt:-(
