I sent this 50p charity shop book "The essential history of England" and one of my '66 celebration pic's off to Jimmy Armfield Via Blackpool football club on the 24th of February (I didn't send the dust jacket) and today the items have been returned signed by Jimmy but he did sign the team celebration pic on the back.
James Christopher "Jimmy" Armfield, CBE, DL (born 21 September 1935 in Denton, Lancashire) is an English former professional football player and manager who currently works as a football pundit for BBC Radio Five Live. He played the whole of his Football League career at Blackpool, usually at right back. Between 1954 and 1971 he played 627 games in all competitions, scored six goals, and spent a decade as the club's captain. He also captained the England national team fifteen times.
Thank you Jimmy Armfield..One of the boys from '66.
And yet more stamps for recycling cheers Royal Mail.

Congrats Alex. I imagine after he saw the result of the glitter pen on mine, he decided to sign the back of yours. I do not like glitter pens.
