It's never easy when most of the team come out together....only managed 13 of the 16 man squad that travelled up for last nights game in the match day programme...Plus manager Chris Wilder.
Coach Andy Melville who played 65 times for Wales signed the shirt that I have and No 24 Mark Wilson, Ex Man Utd, signed a couple of cards adding both his utd squad No's to them..one on it's way to you Carl, Sat in the stand was Jim Rosenthal( Presenter) who has always been a loyal supporter of his childhood home team of Oxford United. He famously wore an Oxford United hat whilst hosting the ITV coverage of the Milk (League) Cup final in 1986 from Wembley Stadium. On 15 June 2010, Rosenthal was announced as a member of the Oxford United board of directors...he also signed a card for me...Stanley loanee players Bobby Grant, (Scunthorpe) and Toto Nisala (Everton) signed pic's in the programme also. Best graph for me last night was Loanee Player from Sunderland Michael Liddle..Any relation Paul?..he signed for us a month ago and then got sent off in his first away game...he went straight back to Sunderland to serve his 3 match ban for a straight Red..he's back on an extended loan deal...he signed the Stanley book I have..that's all players for the last 2 seasons who have kicked a ball for us in a match plus some that have moved on and returned with other clubs ....Poor result last night..the graphs almost made up for that!
