IP Graphs from yesterday's games :-D

Accy Stanley started their Home pre-season friendly matches yesterday starting with a 2 game afternoon, First up was Fleetwood Town V Blackburn X1 followed by Stanley V Another Blackburn X1. £10 adult entrance fee got you in to see both matches..Kids £2. A bit chaotic with so many players and fans about and with teams not using same exit points it wasn't easy to get Fleetwood and the Stanley team..I can add to these as the season goes on....No 1 priority yesterday was the Ex Premier league side. Took the Rovers shirt that was returned unsigned by Villa's Steve Warnock last season and added 19 graphs to it including Summer signings Danny Murphy, He also added his graph to the  multi signed Liverpool shirt I took with me..wouldn't sign it at first saying it was the wrong Colour now...but he did in the bottom corner, Leon Best ex Newcastle and the lad from Portugal Miguel Nuno Gomes signed too as did Paul Robinson, David Dunn (Local hero), Mauro Frormica, Mark Nunn, Radosav Petrovic, Scott Dann, Ruben Rochina, Grant Hanley, Josh Morris, Jason Lowe,Trialist Edinho Junior ( Trialed at Celtic earlier in the year) Adam Henley, Ex Rovers player Colin Hendry now on the coaching staff and Manager Steve Kean...All these lads also signed the mach day programme too, only managed 6 of the Fleetwood Town players but I will be seeing these lads again this season. Oonly got Stanley keeper Ian Dunbavin and goal scorer Brian Smikle who's a trialist to sign from our boys..again I will add to this.

Now for the best par of Yesterday..England and Liverpool captain Stevie Gerrard made an appearance at the Crown Ground. He's best mates with Stanley Keeper Ian Dunbavin and they travelled to and from the game together...Probably the first person to graph him yesterday in the director's lounge on his own..Happy to sign the liverpool shirt I had and also signed an index card in Red...he did sign for a few and those that got a graph after the match only got a quick IP scribble compared to the nicer ones earlier in the day Had a quick chat with him about his captain's roll at Euro 2012 and wished him and Liverpool well for the coming season., Nice bloke and an uexpected bonus....Accrington Stanley Who are We? And we beat Rovers 1-0...Probably my best day for IP graphs..Not for the amount I managed, around 50, but the fact I met  and chatted to the England captain at my home ground. what a brilliant afternoon no wonder your chuffed with that haul, and to get Gerrard too is brilliant nice full graffs from him too...glad to see you put the shirt to use too with the Rovers boys and a great looking programme and liverpool shirt too not a bad day for you overall 🙂

That's fantastic Alex. It does not get much better than that. Brilliant autographed items, especially the shirts, and to get Stevie as an unexpected bonus is such a gem.
