Not had much time to get round to posting about these two great sci-fi books picked up when I collected my comics on Friday. The first book was full price at £12.99, the second was a sale bargain at £15.

Operation H.A.T.E. HB 1/1 2012 by Richard Franklin

Richard is better known for his role as Captain Yates in Doctor Who. This is his first fictional novella. Only 200 copies have been printed and are numbered / signed. Mine is #130. The main source that sold these says they are sold out, but some obviously ended up at FB as they have 5 or 6 copies of the shelf, so I grabbed one.

The second book I picked up was a pleasant surprise. It was in the sale bin, but not priced, so I had to ask how much it was at the till. When they checked and said £15, I said add it to my other purchases thank you.

Postscripts 15 HB 2008 by various

This is a sci-fil anthology title. This particular one is one of 300 limited and numbered copies that is autographed by 24 contributors including the likes of Brian Aldiss, Michael Moorcock and Stephen Baxter.

What a great find, Nigel. All those sigs for £15. You must be delighted to grab that one. The Franklin book is another good find.
